We are seeking a seasoned Construction Team Leader to oversee the management and control of construction units and maintenance programs.

This role involves in-field work, supervising a team to ensure projects are completed on time and within established parameters.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of roadwork techniques, quality control requirements, and structural practices. They will also exhibit excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise construction teams and manage projects from commencement to completion
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols
  • Coordinate logistics and resources to meet project deadlines
  • Monitor and report on project progress and budgets

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Techniques:
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with local government policies and procedures
  • Desirable Criteria:
    • First aid certification
    • Traffic control work card (IMP)
    • Safe work near overhead powerlines certification
