Job Description:

As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in overseeing the movement of equipment, inspections, storage, and delivery on a construction Brownfield project in Port Kembla. This is a 6-9 month contract position that requires hands-on logistics coordination skills, with experience in warehouse and logistics management, operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee equipment logistics, inspections, storage, and movement to ensure safe and timely delivery of equipment to work areas.">
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to deliver equipment to project warehouses.">
  • Coordinate the delivery of equipment to work areas while ensuring compliance with safety standards.">
  • Manage inspections, labeling, warranty records, storage, and quality control procedures.">
  • Repackage and prepare equipment for storage and transport.">
  • Implement logistics procedures focusing on safety, environment, and documentation.">
  • Promote a safety-first culture by applying WHS standards.">

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics coordination.">
  • Current forklift and overhead crane tickets/licenses.">
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.">
  • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.">
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.">
  • Experience with computerized tracking and barcoding systems.">
