As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping the success of our underground SMP construction project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee quality assurance systems and ensure all deliverables align with client standards
  • Manage inspection test plans (ITPs), measurement and reporting documents (MDRs) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct audits and inspections on SMP scopes in an underground environment
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and health and safety teams to embed quality into day-to-day operations
  • Report quality performance and raise non-conformity reports (NCRs) or corrective actions as needed

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in quality assurance on construction or SMP mining projects
  • Experience working in underground construction environments
  • Strong knowledge of ITPs, MDRs, and quality documentation systems
  • The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Background in brownfields mining projects
  • Relevant quality assurance or engineering qualifications
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
