Civil Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Civils Project Engineer for large-scale renewable energy projects located in New South Wales.

  • Work closely with the project manager and engineering team to ensure project objectives are met on time with respect to cost, safety, and quality.
  • Lead the work pack development for the project.
  • Review project documentation and raise technical queries related to the project.
  • Provide engineering/technical support and advice to on-site supervision and project staff involved in the execution of works.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Work in accordance with quality assurance procedures, based on customer and ISO requirements.
  • Assembling and maintaining project documentation and quality records for the project ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • An Australian recognised, tertiary qualification in Civils Engineering.
  • Ideally demonstrable experience in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) or Wind Farm construction.
  • Demonstratable experience in Substation construction, including installation, testing and commissioning of high voltage electrical work.
  • Site based industry experience as a Project Engineer within the substation, renewable energy or construction industry.
  • Excellent written and technical skills and a confident user of MS Office Suite.
  • An innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Clear and engaging communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Driven commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
