This role will support the Project Managers in the running of the BMD Group's Safety, Environment, and Quality Systems across project sites in the region. This will involve:
- Promoting the development and implementation of safety, environmental, and quality standards that address all compliance and due diligence requirements.
- Conducting safety, environmental, and quality audits and inspections.
- Preparing reports for senior management.
- Assisting with education and training of BMD staff in the areas of safety, environmental, and quality systems.
- Preparing work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans.
- Developing and implementing system changes and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Preparing and submitting reports to senior management on safety, environmental, and quality performance.
- Providing training and education to BMD staff on safety, environmental, and quality systems.
- Developing and implementing work method statements, project plans, and inspection and test plans.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure safety, environmental, and quality systems are integrated into project delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A qualification in work health and safety (minimum of Cert IV).
- A qualification in training and assessment desirable.
- Prior experience in the construction industry highly regarded.
- Current knowledge of legislation, standards, and industry requirements.
