Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing hydraulic engineering designs that meet project requirements.
  • Collaborating with other design teams and engineering disciplines to ensure the coordination and resolution of overall project design solutions.
  • Assisting in delivering project-related tasks to meet budget, timeframe, and quality targets.
  • Interfacing with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
  • Attending site inspections and collaborating with trade contractors to ensure designs are installed according to briefed requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor to Master level degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil or Building Services Engineering).
  • 2 to 5+ years' industry experience within an Australian building services consulting engineering practice.
  • Well-versed across various building sectors.
  • Professional Engineers registration (or working towards it).
  • Experience with hydraulic engineering design and liaising with relevant authorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of relevant Australia Standards and Building Code of Australia.
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of Revit MEP, NavisWorks, and BIM would be advantageous but not essential.
