About the Role

This exciting opportunity requires an experienced engineer to spearhead the development of comprehensive tenders and bids for high voltage infrastructure projects. As part of our team, you will work closely with our Estimators, Regional Manager, and engineering team to deliver innovative solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing major tenders within the high voltage infrastructure industry, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining technical accuracy and cost-effectiveness. To achieve this, you will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate customer RFQs and tender specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in proposal engineering, plant procurement, or managing major tenders within the high voltage infrastructure industry
  • Proficiency in analysing customer RFQs and tender specifications
  • The ability to utilise technical expertise to evaluate customer needs and propose solutions that are both technically sound and cost-effective
  • A solid understanding of Primary Engineering principles, including proficiency in interpreting and creating single line diagrams (SLDs) and general arrangement drawings
  • The ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple tenders to meet tight deadlines
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
