
Nurse - Mental Health Specialist

As a Registered Nurse in Mental Health, you will provide person-centred care to individuals living with complex mental health needs, dementia, or behavioural changes.
You will work collaboratively with patients, families, carers, and a multidisciplinary team to develop tailored care plans that address mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
- Patient-Centred Care: Deliver high-quality care that prioritises dignity, safety, and quality of life for every patient.
- Collaborative Practice: Engage closely with doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure seamless support for patients.
- Positive Ward Culture: Foster a supportive environment where patients, families, and colleagues feel valued and supported.
About You:
- Registration and Competence: Hold current registration with the relevant health practitioner agency and possess competent clinical skills aligned with professional standards.
- Leadership and Supervision: Be able to delegate and supervise Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) within their scope of practice.
- Assessment and Planning Skills: Have strong abilities in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
