Community Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee our frontline team and deliver inclusive, trauma-informed support.

This is a challenging opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our community. You will lead daily operations, ensuring services run smoothly and compassionately across our program spaces.

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver responsive, person-centred support
  • Allocate workloads and manage service flow across intake, care coordination and outreach
  • Supervise and support staff through regular check-ins, coaching and debriefing
  • Drive continuous improvement in service quality and visitor experience
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and psychologically healthy workplace culture
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve outcomes for our community
  • Monitor incidents, manage risk, and maintain clear, up-to-date reporting and care plans
About You

You will be a confident, compassionate leader with a background in social work, mental health, homelessness or related fields. You bring structure to complexity, know how to support a team under pressure, and thrive in environments where no two days are the same.

You should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work or a related field
  • At least 5 years' experience leading frontline service delivery in a complex environment
  • Experience in care coordination, case management and trauma-informed practice
  • A commitment to social justice and inclusive service delivery
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust across teams and clients
  • Experience supervising staff and promoting professional growth and wellbeing
