Job Title: Government Liaison Specialist

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Government Liaison Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating the development and lodgement of submissions for Cabinet and Cabinet Committees.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and lodge submissions for Cabinet and Cabinet Committees, ensuring they meet Cabinet protocols.
  • Provide accurate advice and support to internal stakeholders on Cabinet protocols and processes.
  • Manage the distribution of submissions within the department, including the coordination of departmental comments.
  • Coordinate briefing and meeting packs for senior officials on items to be considered at meetings of Cabinet and Cabinet Committees.
  • Conduct regular audits of departmental holdings of Cabinet material.

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborative and supportive team player.
  • Effective communication skills and confidence presenting processes at various forums.
