The Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Transport Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day allocation of freight for our rapidly growing client base. Your expertise in middle mile road freight forwarding will be instrumental in driving our success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end fulfilment process with transport carriers for our clients
  • Identify and implement process improvements to meet customer expectations
  • Maintain industry-leading DIFOT while adhering to CoR / HVNL requirements
  • Train and mentor team members to optimize freight transportation
  • Manage issues escalated by your team and support Operations Manager as needed
  • Lead a team of several people to achieve operational excellence
Requirements
  • Extensive transport industry experience (ideally middle mile freight forwarding)
  • Wide network of line-haul carriers around Australia would be advantageous
  • Comfortable working with computer systems (we'll teach you ours)
  • Comfortable leading a team under intense pressure
  • Practical and proactive mindset to find transport solutions for our clients
  • Desire to learn, adapt, and grow
