Clinical Nurse Specialist

Clinical nurse specialists in sexual health play a vital role in providing expert care and education to diverse communities attending the service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a sexual health service, including testing for STIs and BBVs, genital examinations, vaccinations, venepuncture, triage, and referral.
The role also involves supporting public health outcomes through early detection, patient education, and contact tracing of notifiable infections.
Additionally, the candidate will drive continuous improvement through research, professional development, and participation in innovative clinical projects.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have strong clinical skills in sexual health or transferable experience.
Candidates should bring empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a non-judgmental approach to delivering care to priority populations.
They should work confidently both independently and within a team, managing complex situations, solving problems under pressure, and using digital health systems effectively.
