Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Architect to join our expert team in Sydney.

In this crucial role, you'll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing comprehensive security solutions across complex cloud landscapes.

You'll champion security best practices, enable secure digital transformations, and empower our clients to confidently navigate and mitigate cloud risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain robust cloud security architectures guided by leading security frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Design multi-project landing zones using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Architect identity and access controls leveraging Cloud Identity and IAM roles & policies.
  • Define network security designs involving VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, and Private Google Access.
  • Implement data protection strategies using Cloud KMS, Cloud HSM, and Confidential Computing.
  • Integrate Security Command Center, Event Threat Detection, and Chronicle SIEM to build automated detection, alerting, and incident response workflows.
  • Embed security into CI/CD pipelines using Container Analysis, Binary Authorization, and Security Scanning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing complex, enterprise-grade security solutions on cloud platforms.
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge across the cloud security ecosystem.
  • Proven expertise in secure cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, network security, data protection, and security operations.
  • Strong understanding of leading security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Demonstrable experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • A track record of leading threat modeling and risk assessment activities.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for continuous learning and innovation in cloud cybersecurity.
