Care Crew Property Services is a rapidly growing organization that aims to create thriving living environments for residents in apartment buildings.

We seek a skilled and proactive individual to join our team as a Gardener/Caretaker, responsible for maintaining well-kept, safe, and enjoyable gardens and grounds.

This role involves creating living environments where people thrive by performing weekly or fortnightly property visits to clean and maintain outdoor common areas, with occasional indoor common space cleaning tasks.

As a key member of our crew, you will work in teams of two, with some solo shifts, visiting multiple properties per day between 7:00am and 4pm on weekdays.

We offer flexible shift hours, and require you to be available from late October, with training provided, and to work through the Christmas period.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely operating power tools and garden machinery to maintain gardens and grounds.
  • Performing simple repairs and maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs.
  • Observing and reporting any issues with the building or grounds.
  • Maintaining indoor common areas to a high standard through vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, wiping, and glass cleaning.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to perform periodic cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as deep cleaning tiles, washing walls, hedge trimming, lawn maintenance.

To succeed in this position, you must:

  • Be physically fit and active.
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's license and own a vehicle.
  • Possess a current Police check.
  • Be fluent in English.
