The Senior Claims Consultant is a key role within Tal Services Limited, responsible for the proactive management of a portfolio of complex life insurance claims. This position requires a high level of expertise in claims management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Strategy and Management: Develop and implement effective claims strategies to ensure timely and accurate resolution of complex claims.
  • Claims Assessment and Determination: Conduct thorough assessments of claims to determine entitlements and ensure compliance with policy terms and conditions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Technical Specialists, Recovery & Support Specialists, and Health Services, to ensure seamless claim resolution.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide guidance and support to less experienced Claims Consultants, promoting best practice portfolio management and case management.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role, involving life, lump sum, trauma, and income protection claims assessment in the Financial Services/Insurance Industry.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field (desirable).
  • Skills: Ability to build rapport and empathy with customers during difficult times, medical, vocational, or rehabilitation background (desirable).
