Job Overview

The Guest Service Officer is a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. We are looking for an experienced professional who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the Front Office.


Located in the heart of Melbourne, we offer luxurious rooms, an indoor pool, and a gym. Our restaurant serves delicious local cuisine with stunning views of the city.


As a Guest Service Officer, you will be responsible for handling guest queries, preparing arrival and departure reservations, and processing payments. You will also maintain public and back-of-house areas to a high level of cleanliness and presentation.


You will answer phones, coordinate guest needs, and actively upsell and cross-sell hotel services and outlets. Making coffee and preparing food within our lobby café is also part of your responsibilities.


As a local expert, you will engage with guests sharing your knowledge on Melbourne's attractions, laneways, restaurants, and bars.


Flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays, is essential. Previous experience in guest relations or front office roles is advantageous. A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is required.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure efficient operation of the Front Office.
