Job Title: Clinical Educator - Perioperative Nursing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team, responsible for developing and delivering high-quality clinical education programs in perioperative nursing.

About the Role:
  • Design, coordinate, and evaluate training programs for nurses and midwives to enhance their skills and knowledge in perioperative care.
  • Lead professional development initiatives, providing mentorship, competency assessment, and evidence-based guidance to support service excellence and safety.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and develop targeted education programs that meet the requirements of our patients and staff.
  • Support the development of future leaders through structured performance development and capability planning.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. To design and deliver comprehensive education programs that cater to the diverse needs of our nursing and midwifery staff.
  2. To lead the coordination of regular meetings and workshops to facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among staff members.
  3. To conduct regular evaluations of the effectiveness of education programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. To maintain accurate records of program delivery and participant feedback.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing or Midwifery or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the relevant state or territory health department.
  • Proven experience in clinical education or staff development, applying education theory to clinical practice.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, managing change, resolving conflict, and engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and evaluate education programs across clinical and community settings.
