The Role
You will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to residents in a person-centred approach. As a Registered Nurse, you will inspire others while coordinating daily care needs, delivering high-quality services with a focus on dignity and independence.
This role requires strong leadership skills as you work closely with the clinical care team to promote quality care principles. You will assess residents' needs, engage in evidence-based practices, and manage medications effectively.
You will liaise with doctors, allied health professionals, and family members to plan, implement, and evaluate individual resident care plans.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- AHPRA registration as a Qualified Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care
- Proven leadership skills, including delegation and workload prioritization
- Able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in providing patient-centred care
- Familiarity with Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- Understanding of Aged Care legislative requirements and safe medication administration
- Knowledge and experience with ACFI
- Excellent computer and documentation skills
- Demonstrated empathy and respect for individuals
