About the Role

We are seeking an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to join our Chief Operations Office Indigenous Academy as a Trainee. As a Trainee, you will undertake a 12-month traineeship, working full-time with a view to moving to a permanent role at the successful completion of your traineeship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake on-the-job training and complete an accredited Certificate qualification in Business
  • Work as part of a team to run, improve, and transform processes that deliver products, services, and productivity benefits to our customers
  • Process critical services for our customers, including the establishment and discharge of loans, processing payments and grants, and verifying details to progress product applications

Requirements

  • A keen eye for detail and a curiosity and confidence to seek clarification
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to keep accurate reporting
  • Demonstrated care, courage, and commitment and be an energetic contributor to team meetings
  • Good communication skills, communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Desire to learn more about the organisation and further develop project skills
