Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-end food offerings across multiple restaurants, corporate dining, and functions.

Estimated Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
  • Support the day-to-day culinary operation, ensuring consistency with high-quality and presentation standards.
  • Demonstrate expertise in minimising waste and maintaining HACCP and Food Safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in establishing, executing, and evaluating food service standards.
  • Address issues with managers, kitchen, and waiting staff.
  • Provide guidance on cooking procedures and demonstrate techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie in a high-volume production environment.
  • The ability to thrive under pressure, meet strict timelines, and balance scale and quality.
  • Strong team player skills with the capacity to work independently.
  • Certificate III Commercial Cookery essential.
