Job Summary

This role involves the preparation of monthly financial reports for a mine site, stewardship of the general ledger and utilization of business intelligence systems to prepare insightful reporting and understand business performance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Complete all financial accounting and reporting, including monthly financial reports and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Support audit requirements during hard close, half and full year audit processes and joint venture accounting and reporting.
  • Stewardship of the general ledger for company codes, ensuring correct allocation of expenses.
  • Develop expertise in ERP and BI software.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting / Business or related field.
  • CPA or CA membership.
  • Three years' experience in management accounting and mine accounting (Desirable).

To be successful in this role you will require excellent analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to have a high level of proficiency in MS Office and specifically Excel.
