Early Childhood Specialist Role

We seek a skilled professional to provide specialist support to early childhood professionals, facilitating their growth and empowerment.

This opportunity involves collaborating with a range of stakeholders, including frontline educators and Centre Directors, to develop and implement comprehensive training plans and effective governance strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, combined with leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining professional networks, as well as establishing productive relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders.

About the Position
  • Develop proposals within a project management approach.
  • Mentor and support a range of stakeholders, including Service Leaders and Approved Providers.
  • Collaborate with Approved Providers to develop and implement service-wide training plans.
  • Provide training and guidance on sustainable Early Childhood Governance for standalone and not-for-profit services.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and approved learning frameworks.
  2. Support corporate organisations navigating the ECEC sector.
  3. Contribute to the planning and delivery of events, conferences, workshops, blogs, and social media engagement.
  4. Maintain currency in knowledge and contribute to the development of new branded products and contextualisation of training resources.
Requirements
  • Approved Early Childhood qualification.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Extensive leadership, coaching, and mentoring experience.
  • Evidence of a deep understanding of the ECEC sector landscape.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks and establish productive relationships.
  • Proficiency in facilitating skills transfer to adults through various mediums.
