About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Community Programs and Events team as an Events and Programs Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering events, programs, and workshops to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Programs and Events team with event setup, delivery, and teardown
  • Provide exceptional customer service to community members, staff, and contractors
  • Liaise with contractors, stallholders, and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations
  • Handle ticketing and administration duties
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community programs and events
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Availability to work weekends and after-hours, as well as flexibility to work during the week
Desirable Requirements
  • First Aid qualification
  • Working with Children Check
  • Driver's Licence
  • Previous experience in customer service, ticketing, venue operations, community programs, or event delivery
