Engineering Governance Lifecycle Manager

About This Role
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Manager Engineering Governance Lifecycles to play a pivotal role in executing, operationalising and continually improving engineering policies and standards.
This position is crucial in embedding consistent efficient and compliant engineering practices across the Group aligning with industry best practice and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering standards including documentation communication and technical enforcement.

- Collaborate with engineering architecture security and governance teams to implement and enhance engineering standards and frameworks.
- Manage central repositories for standards approved technologies and related documentation.
- Coordinate regular content for communications channels to ensure standards and changes are visible and understood across the Group.
- Support technology radar and RFC processes enabling engineers to propose review and adopt new technologies and practices.
- Track adoption and effectiveness of standards identifying opportunities for improvement and enhanced assurance.
- Provide technical guidance in engineering governance activities particularly around process lifecycle management and integration with existing systems and processes.
- A strong technology background with an understanding of engineering principles standards and best practices.
- Proactivity a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to take ownership of initiatives from conception to operationalisation and iteration.
- A culture of continuous improvement and the ability to drive change effectively.
- Able to work as an individual contributor and in a multi-stakeholder environment on large initiatives influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile ways of working including tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
- A risk and cost management mindset.
