Mid-Market Trading Underwriter Opportunity in London

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Market Trading Underwriter to join our team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading Global Insurance company with offices throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will have experience of Motor Trade or Property & Casualty Underwriting and excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysis of risks and the ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
  • Previous analysis of risks and the ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers is preferred but not essential

The successful candidate will be expected to embrace and understand strategy to be an active mobile underwriter, which would include face-to-face broker visits.

Hybrid working is accommodated and a 50/50 home/office split is possible.

Skill and experience required:

  • Experience of Motor Trade or Property & Casualty Underwriting is essential
  • Excellent communication, listening, time management and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large complex organisation
  • Previous analysis of risks and the ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers is preferred but not essential
