We are seeking a skilled Allocator to join our team at Boral's Concrite Contact Centre in Sutherland. As an Allocator, you will play a critical role in coordinating the dispatch, utilisation, and timely delivery of our Concrete trucks. Your forward-thinking approach will enable you to plan driver schedules in line with customer orders, ensuring seamless service delivery.

This role is ideal for a strong problem solver who can think on their feet and possess a superior customer service ethic. You will work collaboratively with team members and Production to maximise service, ensuring drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedules.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Work with team members & Production to maximise service
  • Ensure Drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedule
  • Notify stakeholders of deviations to schedule or late delivery
  • Comply with driver Fatigue management, statutory requirements and company health & safety
  • A keen eye for detail

  • Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and solution-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with navigating multiple systems
  • Well-developed problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
