We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Allocator to join our team at Boral. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the dispatch, utilisation and timely delivery of our Concrete trucks. Your forward-thinking approach will contribute to your success in planning our driver schedules in line with customer orders.

This role will suit a strong problem solver who has their finger on the pulse. You will possess the ability to think on your feet and have a superior customer service ethic.

The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to work between our operating hours of 6am-5pm Monday to Friday and a rotating Saturday. Full training will be provided on our processes and systems.

Your day will involve:

  • Manage orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Work with team members & Production to maximise service
  • Ensure Drivers are kept up to date on job requirements and daily schedule
  • Notify stakeholders of deviations to schedule or late delivery
  • Comply with driver Fatigue management, statutory requirements and company health & safety
  • A keen eye for detail

  • Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time preferred
  • Demonstrated customer service and solution focused mindset
  • Proficiency with navigating multiple systems
  • Well-developed problem solving and prioritization skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and work in a high-pressure environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
