Support Specialist

This role involves providing vital support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting people to develop important daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.
  • Providing support with aspects of personal care where required.
  • Helping with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection by socialising and going on outings.
  • Supporting individuals to maintain a connection to their family, friends, and services.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar qualification.
  • The capacity to meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • Commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Good computer skills and experience using software packages.
  • A current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check, and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance.
