About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Grounds team as a Maintenance/Gardener. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine garden maintenance and landscaping
  • Maintenance and routine repairs
  • Assisting in Care Facility operations and maintenance
  • Undertaking basic plumbing, paving, carpentry and painting as required
  • Identifying, reporting and performing reactive maintenance

You'll be working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. If you're physically fit, able to work unsupervised and as part of a team, and have a current valid driver's licence, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience with power equipment, tools and machinery (desirable)
  • Physical fitness to use a range of equipment and ability to work in the elements (PPE supplied)
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Current valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to be part of the after-hours call-out team (allowances apply)
  • Livability locally (Gosnells region preferred)
  • Effective communication skills with all levels
  • Experience in a similar role in Aged Care or the development industry with a trade background (desired)
