Senior Research Associate Opportunity

This pivotal role is crucial in advancing research focused on First Nations Social and Emotional Wellbeing.

  • Job Description: The Senior Research Associate will contribute to the research effort within the field of research expertise and to the First Nations SEWB research program.
  • Main Areas of Focus: Workforce SEWB, Child and Youth SEWB, Tertiary Student SEWB, First Nations Suicide Prevention, Novel Treatments for SEWB.

The successful candidate will lead research that informs culturally responsive strategies, embedding First Nations knowledge and experiences in intervention design.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Identification as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
  • A PhD in a related discipline (e.g., psychology, public health, Indigenous studies), and/or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting research on First Nations SEWB, with a track record of producing high-quality, culturally relevant research.
