Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and facilitate access to appropriate treatment services.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Exercise clinical judgement in making decisions about client care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority.
  • A comprehensive understanding of substance use disorders, treatment, and harm minimisation principles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people presenting with an acute drug and alcohol problem.
  • High level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to exercise clinical judgement.
