About the Role

The Head of Credit plays a pivotal role in leading the Credit team and overseeing credit decisioning and risk management to drive business success. With a strong track record of solving complex problems, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Credit team and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee assessment and ongoing review of the loan portfolio, supporting the Corporate Credit team in the annual cash flow lending review.
  • Collaborate with data analytics and technology teams to improve credit decisioning and loss mitigation strategies, shaping risk management approaches and contributing to a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • Previously held Credit Delegation or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business acumen and knowledge of the business lending market, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate respectfully and succinctly with external and internal stakeholders, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
