Mechanical Supervisor Lead

The Mechanical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the plant's mechanical team. This includes planning and executing preventative maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of the plant's equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
- Lead and manage a team of fitters to ensure they have the necessary skills and training to perform their roles effectively
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted accurately and that any issues are resolved promptly
- Mechanical or Electrical Trade certificate or Engineering Degree
- Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Prior leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
