Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Associate to join our dynamic team in the Norwest Litigation practice.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate, you will work on a wide range of challenging commercial disputes, including corporations and shareholder disputes, contract disputes, franchising disputes, ACL claims, property disputes, and building and construction disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take carriage of various litigation matters.
  • Attend Court.
  • Deal directly with counsel and clients.
  • Work collaboratively within a team, including working and mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals.
  • Prepare, predict, and advise as to possible outcomes associated with litigation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years PAE experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Federal Court and NSW Court's procedure and requirements.
  • Broad scope of commercial litigation experience.
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Mentorship skills to assist in developing our junior cohort.
  • Strong practice management and attention to detail.
