Job Opportunity

Seeking a dedicated individual to join our catering team as a Food Service Assistant.

This role involves providing high-quality food and exceptional dining services to residents in a safe and clean environment.

  • Prepare and serve meals, including assisting with meal preparation and providing quality dining service.
  • Support colleagues and maintain a cooperative team spirit.
  • Work safely to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A passion for delivering excellent care to the elderly.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or similar – desirable but not essential.
  • A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or willingness to obtain.
