As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising cloud infrastructure to reduce costs, enhance security, and streamline processes across the entire organisation.

The Cloud Operations team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We use automation and best practices to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. Your expertise in cloud technologies and experience with AWS or GCP services will be invaluable to our team.

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Monitor and optimise system performance, availability, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments.
  • Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation technologies. AWS or GCP certifications are highly desirable.
