A leading ASX listed Mining Services company is partnering with Austcorp Executive to fill the role of a Project Engineer (Electrical).

Job Summary

The Engineering and Operations team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage Electrical Infrastructure Projects from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate resource capability and project demands, providing regular reports and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain accurate budgets and schedules for ongoing projects.
  • Serve as the primary interface between engineering, operations, and contracting teams, facilitating seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Create and manage detailed RFQs and BOMs for electrical site services, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support tendering and quoting efforts by preparing cost estimates and proposals.
  • Review and validate technical electrical drawings and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain contract obligations, address disputes and claims, and facilitate variations to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably certified by Engineers Australia.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in Electrical mining/infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering projects from start to finish.
  • Proven experience in managing Electrical infrastructure projects in mining environments.
