About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Community Care Specialist. As a Community Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential care to our elderly customers within the comfort of their own homes.

Based on the North Shore and Northern Beaches, you will deliver a range of clinical support services, including wound care, medication/injection administration, stoma and bowel care, and catheter management. Additionally, you will conduct nursing, continence, and dementia screening assessments, while supporting care plans and providing solutions tailored to each customer's individual needs.

Working closely with families, General Practitioners, and our team, you will ensure a holistic approach to our customers' well-being, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.

About You:
  • Full AHPRA registration
  • Available minimum 2 days per week (weekdays only)
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Driver's licence with a reliable and insured vehicle
  • Genuine interest in working in the community and with the elderly
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Double COVID vaccinated and willing to undergo a functional assessment
