Job Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel will partner with key stakeholders to deliver commercially astute legal advice, supporting our humanitarian objectives.

  • Purpose: The role aims to provide high-quality legal services, collaborating closely with internal teams to drive strategic initiatives and minimize risks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to influence and drive action that manages key legal risks.
  • Support program and services areas to operate effectively in compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Take responsibility for a portfolio of legal matters and related day-to-day accountabilities.
  • Support the Chief Legal Officer on significant matters and governance reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent) and current practicing certificate.
  • Minimum 5 years PQE with at least 2 years practicing in an in-house environment.
  • Substantial experience working on a range of legal matters and subject areas.
