Overview
The position requires a strategic approach to RMIT's operations, with a focus on building a global risk management function. This involves collaborating with the Director, Risk Management, to ensure that the risk management framework adequately covers key operational and strategic risks.
Key skills include proficiency in managing information using Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, as well as an understanding of RiskWare and Power BI.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Experience in risk management and/or compliance/audits.
- Knowledge of industry and professional standards, frameworks, and tools to support risk management and compliance.
- Writing management reports and managing governance reporting requirements.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Diagnostic and analytical skills to identify and drive creative improvements.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence internal and external relationships.
About the Enterprise Risk Management Team
The team provides University-wide risk management support to ensure that risks are considered, understood, and effectively managed across all activities.
