We are seeking a skilled Creative Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of experience in creating thumbnails and using Photoshop.

Creative Strategist Position

As a Creative Strategist, you will be responsible for crafting detailed creative briefs for thumbnail designers, analyzing key YouTube metrics and analytics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with branding strategies.

  • Thumbnail Brief Crafting: Develop compelling thumbnail designs that accurately represent video content and capture viewers' attention.
  • YouTube Metrics Analysis: Monitor and analyze key YouTube metrics, including AVD, CTR, Impressions, and other relevant data points.
  • Competitor and Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Effective Communication with Designers: Communicate effectively with thumbnail designers, providing feedback and collaboration via dedicated channels.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Photoshop for touch-ups and final adjustments to thumbnail designs.
  • Trends Integration: Incorporate current children's trends into thumbnails to maintain relevance and engagement.
  • Collaboration with Writing Department: Collaborate with the writing department to ensure synergy between thumbnails and video content.
  • Feedback Provision: Provide constructive feedback to ensure thumbnails accurately represent video content and capture viewers' attention.
Requirements:
  • Possess 1-2+ years of experience in creating thumbnails and using Photoshop.
  • Demonstrate understanding of visual design principles for thumbnails, including composition and color theory.
  • Provide a portfolio or previous experience showcasing proficiency in various thumbnail styles.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and accountability when collaborating with team members.
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changes when necessary.
  • Capable of understanding and implementing feedback to enhance thumbnail quality.
  • Flexible in adjusting to changes in deadlines and creating emergency thumbnails.
  • Continuously strive to improve skills and the quality of work.
  • Have experience and understanding in YouTube Analytics and key metrics.
  • Possess good English and writing skills.
  • Understand what makes clickable thumbnails and apply that knowledge effectively.
  • Exhibit great communication skills and remain active within the team.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Minecraft, social media, and pop-culture trends.
