**Job Opportunity:** Senior Configuration Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Senior Configuration Analyst to join our team and support key Defence capability programs in Brisbane or Canberra.

  • Leverage your expertise in Configuration Management (CM) to develop, implement, and maintain processes and frameworks aligned with Defence policies and standards.
  • Mange Configuration Items (CIs) across the capability lifecycle, ensuring traceability, status accounting, and configuration audits.
  • Collaborate with engineering and program teams to identify, control, and verify system baselines and changes.
  • Maintain and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and associated registers.
  • Prepare and review CM documentation such as Configuration Management Plans (CMPs), change control records, and baseline reports.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior configuration analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the CM function.
  • Foster effective collaboration with stakeholders, SPOs, contractors, and other partners to ensure sound configuration governance.
