Morgan Consulting is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of industrial flow equipment, specializing in the design of electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic valve actuators and gearboxes to manage the flow of liquids.
About the RoleIn this challenging and dynamic role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the maintenance of our ISO 9001 certification, including the audit process, and internal audit schedules.
- Managing the maintenance of our AS/NZS 3800 hazardous overhaul certifications, ANZEx workshop scheme, including the audit process, and internal QM audit schedules, and calibration schedules.
- Managing and maintaining our Australian QM system, procedures, and other documents with input from key stakeholders.
- Managing actions identified during audits and providing training to internal auditors as appropriate.
- Managing the internal NCR register and assisting with close-out with other key stakeholders.
- Ensuring that external (product) NCRs are registered on the factory portal and assisting as required to resolve and close external NCRs.
- Managing various compliances needed both corporately and other legislation and regulations, by maintaining a working knowledge of HSE.
- Developing and implementing a renewed HSE program, considering corporate objectives, local legal requirements, and collaborating with staff to achieve culture change within the local organization.
- Successfully rolling out the implementation of RLSRs and Safety Global Standards in Australia and New Zealand, including gap analysis and best practice processes.
- FOLLOWING the corporate incident reporting process and leading the incident investigation and ensuring incidents/events are recorded in CE HSE system, tracked, and closed in a timely manner.
- Managing and monitoring the energy consumption for all locations in Australia and New Zealand to support our Net Zero strategy.
- Ensuring monthly energy usage is reported in our corporate environmental APP.
- Proactively reviewing various feedback mechanisms to identify trends and areas of concern for action regarding the HSE of our staff.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following key attributes:
- 3-5 years' experience working in a HSEQ role.
- Familiarity with ISO45001 and experience establishing the OH&S management system.
- Well-developed knowledge of HSE regulations in Australia and New Zealand, including legal requirements from different states and territories.
- Experience and skills in the tools used to capture, review, and improve processes and systems for various processes.
- Experience and skills in the various tools to capture, review, and improve HSE for all employees, visitors, and customers.
- Experience and skills in leading workgroups/teams to impart knowledge and facilitate improvement projects.
- Ability to use typical Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) both proprietary and MS application software, including email, spreadsheets, ERP, and other relevant applications.
