Job Title: HSEQ Advisor

Fetch Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to join their team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry regulations, site safety protocols, and company HSEQ policies.

The Role:
  • Roving HSEQ advisor
  • Focus on covering 2 flagship projects, one based in the Southeast and the other regional
  • Split week consisting of travelling to the regional project and living away from home 2 days per week and being based in Melbourne the remainder (Expenses paid)

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role, a minimum of a Diploma in OHS/WHS, and experience within the Commercial construction industry. They will also have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address HSEQ issues promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, site safety protocols, and company HSEQ policies
  • Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site
  • Review sub-contractor SWMS
  • Lead comprehensive on-site safety audits: Identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with safety standards, and recommend corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment
  • Quality control and rectification
  • Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
  • Minimum of Diploma in OHS/WHS
  • Experience within the Commercial construction industry
  • Access to a vehicle for travelling purposes
