Physiotherapy Support Role

At our Residential Aged Care Facility, we're seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

">

Assist allied health professionals with treatment plans and provide therapy interventions as needed.

">

Prepare and assist with therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

">

Lead group or individual exercise programs as required, promoting physical activity and well-being.

">

Work collaboratively with other staff members, volunteers, and family members to identify residents' needs and develop personalized care plans.

">

Selection Criteria:

">
  • Cert III in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification.">
  • At least one year of experience working in an aged care setting.">
  • Ability to monitor and review mobility needs of elderly individuals.">
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Basic English and Chinese/Korean language skills.">
  • Computer literacy.">
  • Current police check with clearance.">
  • Right to work in aged care.">

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience using Lee Care software.">
  • Additional language skills, particularly in Chinese dialects.">
