Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist to conduct quality assurance and compliance reviews. The primary purpose of this role is to identify and mitigate non-compliance issues, ensuring alignment with internal protocols, external industry policies, laws, and government regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Establish strong working relationships with stakeholders to increase awareness of compliance, controls, and assurance management.
  • Conduct compliance and quality assurance reviews as outlined by the Quality Assurance Framework and business contracts.
  • Coordinate and support the development and implementation of continuous improvement plans addressing current and emerging compliance issues.
  • Support the development and delivery of reporting for the business and Senior Management Team to monitor quality assurance and compliance performance.
  • Assist leaders in reviewing, designing, and updating internal procedures to mitigate risk of contractual or legislative breaches.
  • Lead the coordination, development, and delivery of training and information sessions on ethical principles, contract compliance requirements, key legislation, and regulatory updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline; industry accreditation as required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Personal Injury in an SME-based role.
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant Commonwealth, State, and/or Territory legislative and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience developing and leading strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulatory obligations impacting the relevant business area.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in systems, software, databases, reporting, communication, and analytical tools.
