About the Role
The Maintenance Planner is a critical member of our operations team, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our maintenance schedule for country operations in QLD. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with production teams to develop and maintain maintenance schedules for QLD country operations
- Planning and coordinating materials, resources, equipment, and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works
- Consulting with operations supervisors and leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing
- Partnering with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively
- Developing cost and time estimates for planned maintenance work
- Maintaining accurate records of technical information and equipment maintenance history
- Continuously improving planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management, and job reporting systems
About Your Experience
We're looking for an experienced maintenance planner with a strong background in planning and scheduling, preferably in a multi-site environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritization, and planning skills. Additionally, they should have:
- Experience with planning in CMMS (SAP is a plus)
- A strong asset management background in materials handling, fixed plant, and mobile plant
- Awareness and understanding of budget constraints
- The ability to work effectively under pressure
- The ability to apply complex problem-solving and critical thinking techniques
