Geotechnical Technician Role

As a Geotechnical Field Technician, you will play a vital role in our team's success. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join us in Western Victoria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drill and log boreholes using mechanical and hand auger equipment
  • Operate site machinery, including ute-mounted augers and tube samplers
  • Collect and log soil samples to Australian Standard (AS) standards
  • Assist with feature surveys and report preparation
  • Support the drafting, engineering, and National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) laboratory teams
  • Coordinate daily schedules independently
  • Liaise with internal teams and occasionally with clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of field/site experience is preferred but not essential
  • A valid driver's licence is mandatory
  • A White Card is required
  • Experience operating machinery is preferred
  • Interest or exposure to survey equipment, such as Leica systems
  • Self-motivation and comfort working outdoors
  • Basic Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
