We are seeking a Quality Assurance Leader to drive the quality, safety and continuous improvement framework across our Oncology practices in Western Australia.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the ongoing implementation of the clinical governance framework.
  • Lead and drive design, rollout and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report quality outcomes to the state and nationally drive continuous improvement initiatives to benefit both patient and employee groups.
  • Provide strategic oversight on accreditation, audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with national safety and quality standards.
  • Support staff safety and quality capability building.
  • Represent quality and safety as a key member of the leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare management or quality.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment and proven ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
  • Experience with quality systems and risk/incident management tools.
  • Strong background in developing and delivering training in the area of quality and safety.
  • Expertise in document standardisation and control, internal audit, compliance and process mapping.
  • Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
