At Arup, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Consultant to join our team. As a key leader in advancing our technical capabilities, you'll be responsible for managing complex geospatial projects and mentoring junior team members.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and deliver high-level geospatial solutions, including advanced spatial analysis, data management, cartography, and technical consultancy for environmental, planning, and infrastructure projects.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for ArcGIS products, ArcGIS Enterprise, and FME.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for spatial tasks using FME or ArcPy.
  • Design and develop advanced web applications, dashboards, and digital field surveys using ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Foster and develop relationships with internal technical specialists and skills groups to drive innovation and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in geospatial or earth observation.
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard geospatial software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, QGIS, FME).
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and lead teams.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and development, with a commitment to building strong relationships with project teams and internal team members.
